Once again I have far too much "free time" at work

SO which do you guys like better Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion I or II??

Personally I\'d go with II, but that\'s just my opinion, the first 2 songs right off the bat are pretty epic.....

Dude, ser? GNR is some straight up Rock and Roll!!! It\'s not metal man, it\'s its own thing, some CLASSIC ****..... but hey to each their own....

Appetite is a classic and still very listenable today. Most of the Illusions are crap, but I guess I\'ll take the blue one over the yellow one.

Used to love her- dude, who can\'t relate to this? Sure it\'s not a musical masterpiece, it wasn\'t intended to be, but it sure captures a feeling.

November Rain=worst **** ever. I remember watching the video as kid thinking \'they can\'t be fuckin serious\'.

^^I really dug 14 years and Civil War (the first two tracks on II the blue one) maybe it\'s cause I got into it when I was a kid, and it\'s more sentimentality than anything else, but....

Ooohh yeah, forgot about the Izzy songs. One on each right? Those were cool. You Could Be Mine too. I totally understand about how an album you used to love can put you right back in that time.

There\'s an idea for a thread- corny **** you used to listen to as a kid. I used to live Wayne, NJ and you couldn\'t show your face in school if you didn\'t own Slippery When Wet.

GnR is the shizzle....... Slash is a great rock guitarist... mean as hell sound... I gotta go with Appetite as the best though...

call me what you want, I still like both metallica and G&R. Both have their stellar and their crap albums (need I bring up load, reload, or st. anger?) ok, thank you. Moving on, all of early metallica was the ****. It was so different from everything else I knew about music I just loved it. G&R was a rock band, but metallica was on another level. The styles were so different I don\'t know how you can compair them. My first two cassette tapes were appetite for destruction followed by ...and justice for all. When my mom saw the pictures on afd she wouldn\'t let me get it, which just made me go out and get it on my own. That\'s when I knew it was a good album

as for this debate, most of both use your illusions is crap. there are some great songs on there, but it could have made one great ablum instead of two mediocre ones. 2 has more of the better songs though. Lies was my first introduction to full on acoustic rock (I owned it for a long time before I realised there were almost no electric guitars on it) and I still love it. Spagetti incident sucked ass. I haven\'t even listened to any of the new stuff.
