The Death Set / CX KiDTRONiK / Hearts of Darknesses
i don\'t think it\'s all that huge for him, especially in NYC. he\'s really blowing up right now.
i think capacity at Terminal 5 is ~ 3,000. I hope i can get my tickets at the door
definitely getting popular, but a 3000-capacity venue seems a bit much...but who knows...tour closer in nyc on a saturday...anything\'s possible

if this show sells out, i\'ll eat my hat
not overly relevant, but i know mike tried to get tix for the NC show the other day and they\'re already sold out..
Question:
What will be the better Terminal 5 show?
a) Hot Chip
b) Girl Talk
What is more likely to sell out?

depends on your definition of better. i think the hot chip show will really surprise you, nick. they\'re pretty solid live...and i think they\'re better than girl talk in general (better songs/playing). but if you prefer a show where 70% of the audience is eye candy...like someone on PT said: "Bring extacy, rubbers and a great story about how you just inherited your fathers fortune."

so this is gonna be a good time, huh? gotta check out this craze some time or another. might as well be in nyc.
Let me ask a stupid question. Does he do anything different from the studio albums? I watched some of the clips that were posted and it sounded exactly like the recorded stuff. I see that he has the laptop, but who\'s to say that he doesn\'t hook the laptop up and then press play on something that\'s already recorded. I\'m sure that I\'m totally off, but that\'s why I\'m asking for clarification.
Okay - that made no sense. Anyone else?
my point was the music really is no different (other than being louder and mixed differently)...but the live show is different in that there\'s a ton of talent
