Gordon Stone in CT next weekend w/my band
« on: »
For anyone in Connecticut with any interest in such things... Gordon Stone - of Burlington Vt.- who played banjo and pedal steel w/phish is going to be in Ct next weekend. His trio is playing at Daniel Street in Milford 1/12 (Electric Mayhem sideproject Mo Folkies is opening). The next night, Gordon will join my band for a special show at the Main Pub in Manchester on Sat 1/13. Our band, the Mark Paradis Band, (we were on the Breakfast\'s NYE bill last year) is mainly an original band, but with a healthy dose of Phish and Dead, JGB, etc. thrown in. Mark, the lead guitarist and namesake was in Liberty Bus and The Feed. His other side project The Marks Brothers has Marc Mercier of Max Creek on keys. For other shows, Scott Guberman (of Rev Tor Band and Vince Welenick Band) and me Greg Marshall (Shakedown) share the keys duty. On bass will be Dave Stoltz of Dickie Betts\'s band Great Southern. Their last special guest was guitar wiz Jeff Pevar (of CSN, and others!) and Greg Vasso, also of Creek.   Hope anyone who can will stop in... no cover!
