Do you still have said hard drive? If so, what did it do? I may be able to help recover the data.
Yeah it doesn\'t talk about the music *that* much, and its pretty lame how he freaks out on the brownie and doesn\'t even eat acid or shrooms or anything interesting
 Leith, were u responsible for
this brownie incident too?!

It made a whirring sound like it was spinning badly for several days on and off. During this time I should have backed everything up but by the time I was ready to do that it had kicked the bucket and no longer showed itself in the IDE chain at boot or in BIOS.
When it kicked the bucket it said "this is not a bootable volume please insert a boot disk" so I guess the boot sector got messed up?
So, since I had WinXP on there I just put FedoraCore5 on my other hard drive and assigned that as the boot volume during install.
So I unplugged it for like 4 months. Then I plugged it back in, now it doesn\'t make any noise and it *does* show upon boot. But Fedora Core 5 doesn\'t see it.
If you want to give it to me, I\'ll take a look at it. If it\'s still spinning and kind of readable, I can probably get the info off of it.
Someone gave this book to me once. I remember it being extremely lame but kinda funny only because the guy was so clueless it was funny to picture him at shows. He reminded me of the student officer dork in How High when he steals the herb plant and goes loco if ya know what I am mean. I think I gave up on it after the brownie bit. deffinitly was nothing deep on the music or the scene from what I read though. Just some chuckle head.
