nah I am ser. they were hot when jordan first came back. but none of the shows this year have blown my mind. they have been good but not epic. the band has definitely lost something not practicing and not doing extended tours. 2008 bfast destroys 2009 musically. you can sit here and argue it all you want but listen to the tapes, show for show. Overall this year has been a wanky loss of momentum, not an improvement. maybe it is just the shows I have seen and the few I have downloaded but I have not seen/heard one show in 2009 that tops the best

No doubt winter 2008 was straight fire but I sorta think Sully\'s 2009-08-01 was in the top handful I ever saw... and Strange Creek 09 might have been the most twisted coil I ever witnessed the band lay out...
Just sayin we should know by now whenever you think Breakfast might be in a slump for like a week or whatever there\'s a damn good chance the next show will be the best you thought you ever saw

49 arrested during police sweeps in Northampton\'s downtown Friday and Saturday nights

NORTHAMPTON ? A drug and alcohol sweep by police Friday and Saturday nights yielded the arrests of nearly 50 people.
Police, over the two nights of the sweep, confiscated more than 600 ?hits? of LSD, 45 grams of
****, two nitrous oxide tanks and more than $2,000 in cash, according to a release.
Friday night brought 24 arrests and Saturday night, 25, police said. Officers in uniforms and plain clothes participated in the sweep.
Those arrested Friday night will be arraigned in District Court on Tuesday. Those arrested Saturday night will be arraigned Thursday, police said.
Mmm yeah. Only knew a couple of the kids who got arrested... poor guy and his girl have had an opiate problem for years so no doubt they were doing whatever necessary to support their way of life. Heard the cops faceplanted em on the ground right in front of the Calvin... . ooof.

Highlights of the weekend for me included chillin with Kyle and Nick ... listening to Adrian\'s new album for the 1st time Saturday morning (A++++!!!) ... and replenishing my stash of headies ... umm, not getting arrested or evicted are always bonuses as well
