I saw "The Devil in Daniel Johnston" last night.  AMAZING documentary!  anyone here listen to his stuff?  i love the work of people who straddle the line between genius and madman (and often stumble into the latter).

saw the movie, thought the movie was great.  music, eh, not so much. i can understand how people like some of the lyrics but to me, the lack of raw talent (musician-wise) just masks any writing talent he may have.
