The real question is why do they call themselves Blind Melon? Shannon Hoon was Blind Melon. The lyrics and the songs is what made Blind Melon so good. The music is good but its not what made Blind Melon, Blind Melon.

I haven\'t listened to the new singer but I had this conversation with Slim Pickens last night.

Well,on this I need to open my big mouth and reveal my closed minded opinion and unless they had a plan to resurrect Shannon Hoon I will never consider there to be a band called Blind Melon again-I think it\'s impossible.I dont even feel like giving it,them,the new singer, a listen.
