i like keller shows a lot more when he a) doesnt loop
**** (seen it twice and it\'s a lot more entertaining and upbeat b) has friends to play with him.. tends to be a show full of covers that he throws a nice twist on. i think keller is talented and one of a kind, and his mouth trumpet aint so bad at the right time.
franti and spearhead -- got my first taste of them at HSMF and i had a great time. however, i think a second time around would be boring as hell b/c ive heard that his shows are always exactly the same, like jocelyn said. he also needs to take it easy on the "How You Feeeeeeeelin\'" he mustve asked about, i dunno, 70-80 times in an hour and a half.
YMSB is always fun. good musicians, fast-fast pace, solid bluegrass vocals, pull the crowd into the show. basically a total package when youre talkin bluegrass.
UM is damn good, but good luck trying to hold a dance groove. LOTS of changes but they do have the potential to draw a sick jam out at any given show. pretty solid song writing too, cant really stand Brendan Bayliss\'s voice after awhile though. whiney
****. they also nail covers extremely well. very good band, but they got NOTHING on TB.
