• Well, supposedly it\'s the fault of vitiligo, but I don\'t buy it. His symptoms don\'t match those of the disease.

• No idea, I do know his dad was a verbally abusive prick, but I don\'t know exactly what he said to him. I do know that Michael claims that he is proud to be a black man and that his skin lightening is from a disease called vitiligo. (He first announced this on Oprah.) However, vitiligo causes white patches on the skin, not a gradual lightening of the skin all over the body, so his claim is definitely suspect.

  the jackson dad was a douche bag. check out "the jacksons: an american dream". it\'s 4 hours long but i have somehow managed to see it on vh1 like 10 times in my life. totally worth it...every single time.

  Maybe his white patches just happen to be on his face, neck, chest, arms, and hands!
