This band is rightous. Their lead singer is great. Drummer insanely good. Straight Rock and Roll w/ that \'80\'s feel of early new romantic rock (synths)mixed w/ the energy of early Oasis. Their performance on SNL was awesome. I look forward to hearing more of these guys.
I had never seen them before and happened to catch them on SNL. I don\'t know what to say to each his own I guess.
I found the lead singer to be soooo FLAT and they sounded amateur at best. None of them seemed to be on the same page.
I guess it just goes to show that 2 people can watch the same performance and walk out with completely different opinions
sounded like no-talent punks to me...changed the channel inside of 30 seconds....

yeah cause thats what the music scene needs....
Come to think of it, so did the show. MAD TV is so much funnier that SNL these days, it is isn\'t even funny...
I saw them on Kimmel six or so months ago. I really dug it, so went out and bought the CD. Not my usual style, but I can dig the Brit-pop band from Vegas.

Neither is funny. MADTV is probably the worst attempt at comedy I have ever seen. Come on Mark, you\'re smarter than that stuff. Dumbed down toilet humor for 10 year olds.
I guess part of the problem is that there really isn\'t much left on TV that is funny, so yes, I have been dumbed down, I better snap out of it!
Thanks for the wake up call!
Alright, 2 things:
1. MadTV for the most part is horrible, but they do have the rare great skit(usually from either Stuart or Miss Swan).
2. Comedy on TV is very prevalent on this day in age on Comedy Central(Chapelle Show, Reno 911, South Park) and the Cartoon Network(adult swim).
never heard of them before i saw this thread, so i hopped on an SNL torrent from the other night to check them out.. i gotta say, i kinda liked them.. leith, i definitely see what you\'re saying about the old-oasis energy.. they\'re not half bad, and they\'re some snappy dressers.

yes SNL blows now, but i can\'t get enough of the Chris Matthews skits.. they\'re really DEAD on!
and for anyone who thinks comedy on tv is dead, you need to tune into Arrested Development and Scrubs.
