edited to add this funny .gif....

is that a young Zuke in the red shirt?? :wah:
nah...that kid\'s a way better dancer than i\'ll ever be:banboogy2:
I\'ve found with "progressive" electronic music, I like it better as an accompaniment to doing something, like writing, driving, etc., because it keeps flowing and changing and propelling you forward.
so what you\'ve actually found, as i pointed out earlier, is music that doesn\'t challenge the listener, that doesn\'t require active listening and is just background noise. that\'s fine, but in no way interesting, to me.
please please please give a listen to shpongle\'s "nothing lasts..." if you would like a sendspace or an oink invite (i have 10 of them...please somebody take one), i would be happy to hook you up. i don\'t want to seem pushy...just trying to spread some good music that will definitely expand your mind
if you have it up there i\'ll take a listen... shoot me a link if you have one
hey Dancin\' Zuke, I\'ll take an Oink invite! this little piggy wants to get SHPONGLEd!
ok, that fsol was pretty good. not something i could listen to regularly, but nice for some early morning come-down music. like good, old fahioned ambient music. where was the untz? because that\'s the crap i was talking about....
ulee i got your invite covered.... whats ur email?
Jason, FSOL is electronica. Your comments have been made towards electronic music in general.
but there were, according to an article i read, a great many actual musicians invoved, not just an 808 and loops. when i think electronic music, i think music without actual musicians. or music like sts9, where the musicians have to play around what the computer is doing. the fsol was just nice editing of other musician\'s music, to my ears.
Check out Tosca "Suzuki"....
its times like this that the xmas giveaway they do comes in real handy!
dear pig, thanks for the extra ratio padding you provide me with at xmas time...
i\'m actually listening to the schplonge thing someone else mentioned... i like it a lot more than the fsol. i\'ll switch over to the tosca in a bit....
i thought i\'d heard mckenna\'s voice in there...
 right? hes a pretty trippy guy that mckenna. . .
i can definitely hear the various dream stages concept throughout. not bad. not bad at all...
i\'m gonna have to eat crow here in a bit, i\'m guessing....
This one should **** you off.....
i was about to get pissed off, but then i just fell asleep instead... so far, so dull. this is exactly the in-the-background, nothing-to-challenge-your-ears/listening kind of pablum i was talking about. like, if it were a choice between this album and total silence, i\'d put on this album. but i\'d rather just turn on a fan....
