Better?
still not catchin what you\'re throwin...
Jim, so sorry i am going to miss this. but i really wanted to go. unfortunately, ive been sick the last two days....in a very bad way. no one wants to see my runny nose and feverish being. I hope you have a good show!
great show, but outside of my friend Jessica, Holly, Sequia, myself and about 10 other people, DOOZIE. OK, it\'s a small band from out of state on a tuesday night, but suport your friends here people! Jims been on the board for year(s) and even if I didn\'t like the music I still would have gone to support him. Luckily, I think they are awesome and have really well constructed songs . I\'d like to call you out and say you all suck for having missed a great show. If I can make it out and still get to work for 4am the next day, there is no reason you couldn\'t have (unless you\'re sick like sky )
Jim, I was blown away. You\'ve got a great band going there and your sound has a lot of potential. Can I get a setlist posting?
Jordan sat in on Little wing and Jim tore that
**** up in the solo. They also covered a ben folds five song "where\'s summer b.?". A perfect cover imo since they remind me of ben folds. I did a single camera video, tripod next to the pole directly below where fitzy clamps his mics. Bassist kept hiding behind the wall but otherwise a good shot. As long as the audio came out I\'ll torrent and you tube it after a quick mixdown.
I really did want to go last night, unfortunately some kid gave me pink eye yesterday, and I was in bed before the show even started. @ least I got a sick day today (...a real one this time!)
i was thoroughly impressed with urban fetch last night...hadn\'t seen the them before, but needed to get around to doing so. the band definitely has a good sound/has it together. there was an instrumental (can\'t remember the name of it-something about a yellow sweater?) that was played last night that blew me away. i\'m glad i made it down and picked up one of the cds-i like the cover art a lot!! can\'t wait to listen as soon as i figure out how to fix the cd player in my car

nice meeting the rest of the guys who were very nice and very polite! loved the jordan sit in as well.

i have to say that i was very disappointed to see that so many people did not show up. i\'ll have to remember not to count on anyone here to come and support me if i have something like this going on.
great seeing ya jimbo!
ahhh except for paul ryan!
If there is one thing that I have learned from being a breakfast fan for the past 7+ years..............
DOOZIES HAPPEN.....
Suck it up.
yea, doozies happen, but given the amount of intrest I saw in this thread, I expected to see more than just holly.
Didn\'t even get a freddiy steering people away out front.
its okay folks, as much as i\'d have liked to have seen a lot of you since i dont get to that often, like steve said, doozies happen, and theres not much one can do when everyone gets sick. can\'t expect much on a tuesday night either. hopefully next time we\'ll see a couple more familiar faces. we did make a few new fans and sold enough records to pay the expenses so it was a success. big thanks to those who did come out. and another big thanks to sequia for playin a tune with us.
setlist:
I: One Sad Winter Night, #2, Nice Yellow Shirt > My Brother the Axe Murderer, Nicotine and Ritalin, Where\'s Summer B., Falling Down Behind > No Turning Back > Eastbound, Little Wing*, Going Down, She Called Him Over, Instrumental > Caving In > She Called Him Over Reprise
* w/ Jordan Giangreco on keys
well to quote some midwesterner from my first tour with the breakfast.....
"some days you get the peanuts.....some days you get the shells"
sorry but it looks like it was a shell day for Urban Fetch yesterday.....
we did make a few new fans and sold enough records to pay the expenses so it was a success.
Now that is the way you turn a shell day around, pick up some peanut skins and call it a day......
Way to go Cobby.......Next time get the breakfast to play with you and you can guarantee at least 15 more people there
