a little let down by the game this afternoon. portugal gave a completely uninspired second half performance. definitely very happy spain won, and **** did they deserve it. villa outshot portugal alone. and i dont think portugal had a single SOG in the entire 2nd half. its a shame these two teams drew each other so early in knockouts, cuz i really like them both. but portu proved they rely on nothing but strong defense and ronaldo up front, he needs some assistance.

looking forward spain has the only sure ticket to the semis, and the winner of brazil v. netherlands is through to the finals. im definitely pulling for a spain/brazil final, but would be excited for an argentina/brazil, netherlands/spain (both teams have NEVER won a cup!), or an argentina/netherlands matchup. **** germany.

Netherlands vs Brasil
Argentina vs Germany
Paraguay vs Spain

And for those who say **** Germany, I just want to point out, despite their history... they were never projected to make it this far due to youngness of their team.  I\'d say they\'ve done pretty well so far! My predictions for the next rounds are:
Uruguay vs Brasil
Germany vs Paraguay (Yes, I\'m going for the upset over Spain, they\'ve been on fire!)

Hot Damn stoked for the Dutch and Ghana is pushing and pushing Uruguay and got a Goal in injury time at the half!
Sucks it\'s not the U.S. but to have most of the Continent rooting for Ghana is pretty neat to see/hear.
I like Argentina but wouldn\'t mind seeing Germany get by and I\'d like to see Spain keep it going.

Damn! Hand Ball and Ghana can\'t convert hitting the top post!
