Also got tix for that game as well as Saturdays. Standing room only. Pretty sure I am going to make but I will let you know if I change my mind.

Dave, I only read a handful of them, but will read the rest of Lastings\'s facts later. That\'s tremendous, especially since it\'s the doings of a Mets fan. Very funny. I\'d love to know how you found that.

didn\'t I read someone from .info was gonna be at the MEts v Phils game tonight? I think it was Klout but I am not sure. Anyways just saw Reyes get a hit to score El Doughe (sp) and caught a glimpse of someone holding a sign with MOXIE on it. Thought it was pretty cool

...and it\'s not like Yankee fans can be too thrilled.  Boston hands us a gift, and our boys lose 2 of 3 and pretty much let them get away with it. When your rival gets swept you must drop the hammer.

Although I have to say, with the nightmare of injuries this year I\'m thrilled my Yanks are doing this well.

It\'s gonna be a fun weekend.  I\'m spending my Daniel St hangover @ the Stadium.

Well, this thread is carried by Red Sox, Yankees, and Mets fans.  And while all 3 teams are in playoff contention, every baseball fan knows that all 3 of these teams are completely illegitimate as championship contenders this year.  When it\'s this obvious that none of these teams are making the World Series (OK the Mets have a shot but they\'ll get swept by anybody from the AL), everyone holds back their comments for fear of being "the guy who talked the most trash before his team went down."  If we had any White Sox, Tigers, A\'s, Reds, or Cardinals fans on here then we\'d have a thread, but we don\'t.  At this point in the season it\'s clear enough what\'s going to become of the Yanks, Sox, and Mets that nobody wants to talk too much.
