I can not stand the YES Broadcasters. They absolute make watching the game unbearable most of the time. Its better to just turn the commentary off and listen to music which always gets me to do something else thus I never watch games on YES only bits and pieces.
my dad would always mute the TV and put on the Red Sox radio staion, the radio is a little faster than the TV, but I\'d rather that than.....
and it\'s not even realy a Yankee thing, I just don\'t like em
i had to listen to the yankee announcers during one of the subway series games and I wanted to fuckin shoot myself. They are the worst ever it makes the game suck its so bad. cant believe they let them on the air. Just typical of the yankees tho imo. big bucks and no personality.

I really don\'t want ot talk about it. ugh what a travesty.

as i stated in the radiohead thread - it was great to be in boston, and watch the yanks take a 13-2 lead before radiohead even took the stage!
might as well pitch beckett again tonight..
Okay it\'s good for morale, but the big thing from this win is the play of Phillips and Cabrera. Maybe Big Stein will let them stick around instead of trading for a big name.
I have heard Pat Burrell and Adam Dunn rumors. 2005-Burrell 160 K\'s, Dunn 168 :sigh: That\'s almost as bad as Wily Mo Pena
Im off to the Bronx. got some pretty decent tier seats and left work early. just gotta make sure i stuff my stomach before hopping on the 456 so i dont have to waste my money on ANYTHING in the stadium.
Words can\'t describe how thrilled I am with Melky Cabrera this season.
Melkys catch was sick, manny sux a big dick, drunk kid ran on the field and got leveled by 15 cops, my boys car window got smashed in woodlawn and stereo/cds/clothes=gone, gotta love the Boogiedown Crack Town Bronx.
ps im going again on saturday for "10 year aniversary Pokemon T-Shirt Day"
Just got back from this afternoon\'s Red Sox game. Happy to report that Picture of Nectar is still getting solid play at Fenway Park for at least the fourth consecutive year. They played The Landlady, Megilla, and Tweezer Reprise during various pauses in the game. Definitely the only album to be played more than once during the game.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot...
ORTIZ WALKOFF HOMER IN THE NINTH WITH TWO ON, TWO OUTS, AND TWO STRIKES WHILE DOWN BY TWO RUNS.
He hit it right at me, 5 rows below where I was sitting. That....was...awesome.
the mets are rippin it right now.
Just swept a 4 game series in arizona, beltran 8-17 3hr 10 rbis in the series.
Second best record in baseball to the tigers by one game.
It\'s all about October, but this is the best Mets team in ages so I\'m gonna enjoy it.

I mean, an 8-game win streak, a 9.5-game lead, and a 42-23 record deserves some mention.
So Let\'s Go Mets!
don\'t forgot that lucky as 8 games in a row scoring inthe first inning.
GO BRAVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You\'re right. The Mets certainly were lucky in setting a major-league record by scoring in the first inning in each of their eight-straight road wins. Just about as unlucky as the Braves were in scoring a whopping total of five runs in getting swept by the Marlins.
And speaking of lucky numbers, here\'s one for ya: 13, as in the number of games the Braves are behind the Mets. But don\'t worry your headdress off just yet. Atlanta should be able to edge Florida and Washington for third place.
