An athlete playing a major sport in our country and the world for that matter are not normal human beings. THAT"S WHY THEY ARE ATHLETES!! They do things that the normal joe/jane CAN NOT DO. STEROIDS OR NOT!! This is a fact most people conveniently forget. Yes Steroids can help the body heal faster and take more abuse but athletes today CANNOT be compared to other eras when it comes to body dimensions. HUMANS in GENERAL are larger/stronger AND Healthier than ANY time in our recorded history. For me I love Baseball and always will regardless of whom took steroids or not.

Bonds probably is the best baseball player of my time. Ever great sports hero/icon/figure has had some sort of story to go with him/her. It\'s no wonder Bonds ended up like this, arguably the best hitter of our time, i have never heard of a steriod that increases the strength of an eye or I would have 4 eyes!
Anyways, this is the guys legacy. No one wanted him to break McGuire\'s record because of race issue. Bonds just finally gave up with all this media attention. Luckily, he and many of the other sportsfigures get paid so much that a year out of work won\'t hurt.
