back to the topic, regardless of steroid use, the man is simply not pitched to he maybe sees 3 pitches every five at bats thats remotely hittable and he sends them to the cove. impressive to watch, annoying to listen to, impossible to feel soory for......

First of all, I dont care how juiced up you are, you still need the ungodly hand eye coordination to connect the meat of a 2.125" barrel of bat to a baseball coming in at 75-95 miles per hour. Therefore, I do not think these men are cheaters by any means. Idiots, yes, cheaters, no. Steroids do not help you hit a baseball, plain and simple. Bonds is an ****, and I do not like the man, but one remarkably true statement he made a month or so ago was if you have 75,000 people telling you that you suck, you must be pretty friggin good.

I grew up a Ken Griffey Jr. fan, and to be honest, if he wasn\'t so injury prone no one would even care about Barry Bonds. Griffey is 35 years old right now, with 500 career homers. By my stupid math, he missed pretty much a little over two seasons total (I could be off). 1996-2000 he hit 49,56,56,48,40. That\'s basically 50 a season. So if he missed, say, a season and a half due to injury, and hypothetically did not miss that time he would be at 650 right now, at AGE THIRTY FIVE, and that is just ridiculous. 105 home runs to go at only age 35? Barry Bonds who? Unfortunately alls anyone can do is wonder "what if", and that is truly a shame. If he stays healthy, I think he will eclipse the 700 plateau, and that is remarkable.

And on to hockey! Ah, screw it, I won\'t even go there, I can argue all night.

but, when you couple phenomenal hand-eye coordination with almost inhuman strength, youve got yourself a whole different story. steroids arent going to make a shitty hitter bat .300, but theyll make a few of their balls that wouldve hit the fence land in the bleachers.

if anything, they will allow you to play longer. it seems these guys are less prone to aging/injuries, so playing till your 43 is now easier to do

yeah, then they crash hard when its all over. theyll play longer, they probly wont live longer.
