if boston is in the yankees will play the white sox i think.. which obviously leaves boston vs. anaheim again 1st round.

Now why would you say something like that?

I can see why you would want the Yankees to win AL East, but why do you care if the Sox win the Wild Card? Why do you care if they\'re in the playoffs? NY will beat them anyhow.

That was just plain nasty.

Because the world does not need more bloody socks beamed right into our homes. Because the bosox suck
Because it would be nice to have a change of pace and have Cleveland in the playoffs.

Why? Because without the Sox in the Playoffs there is less drama and stress to deal with in the ALCS (pending both make it there), cos as they proved last year they are never down and out.

Nope.  If Boston is in, they are the wild card, and thus must play the team with the best record, who would be the White Sox.  That leaves the Yankees to play the Angels.  The Angels are masters of ser Yankee ownage.  If I were a Yankee fan, I would much rather see the White Sox.

thats right.. i agree, i think the white sox are definitely the weakest team in the AL playoffs this year.. thats as long as boston does make it. the angels could definitely handle the yankees, but then again i wouldnt be surprised if ny swept. theyre on fire right now.

awfully frustrating watchin this game, schilling is shutting down our bats, and when we do get guys on base we cant get them home. and now its 7-0

and btw they have been talking like its bernies last season with the yanks, this should be his last season EVER.
