To be clear though, I\'m not mad at Bernie, he couldn\'t shake this girl. I actually feel bad for him...imagine being 26 or however old he is and having to go to bars with two chaperones. Somehow I doubt that the Milwaukee Brewers have the same problem. Maybe they only do the body guards in Boston, but considering how much money these guys are worth to the Yankees, my guess is that the team probably sends the bodyguards with them everywhere.

I actually don\'t know. But logic would say Pete Rose, so that\'s my gamble... errr... guess.

since Drew took the logical guess, I\'ll go with George Brett
yeah, i looked up bernie, he turn 36 in september
george brett is my all-time favorite player and i would guess that\'s......incorrect.......my guess would be ricky henderson....my thinking is that he ran many doubles into singles to pad the stolen bases....my real guess would have been rose but it seems so obvious...now i have to go look it up
i didn\'t look it up but suddenly i think i know......my guess is wade boggs

that was gonna be my second stab at it, I dont think he ever legged out a triple in his career, lol, or many doubles for that matter
Just did some quick research... it\'s got to be Pete Rose.
Rose has 3215 career singles. Only 12 other players have at least that many total hits.
By the way, George Brett had 3154 career hits and 2035 singles. Boggs had 3010 hits and 2253 singles.

So, you actually had the time to look up each one\'s career hit totals and subtract their doubles, triples, and home run totals to come up with those numbers

I noticed that no site listed # of singles and that was the only way to concoct the # of singles, but I was too lazy.

I admit it, I have that much free time.
Point Kingsley. Pete Rose is the correct answer.
Great game today, let\'s see if they can take 2 of 3 in New York.
Round 9: a. A fair fly ball hits the wall, then goes off the outfielder\'s glove and over the wall. What\'s the call? b. A fair fly ball hits the outfielder\'s glove, then hits the wall then goes over the wall. What\'s the call? c. A fair fly ball hits a player in the head, then hits the wall, then hits the player\'s glove, then goes over the wall. What\'s the call?

A. home run
B. home run
c. home run
they are all home runs, the ball never hit the ground. . . example, canseco, hit him off the head, went over and was a home run, it never hit the ground.
i beleive a. is a ground rule double
My first thought would be the same as Ant\'s, but that wouldn\'t get me any credit at this point, so let\'s say:
A. Ground Rule Double
B. Home Run
C. Ground Rule Double
