I\'m sure we will both be pounding a few drinks at Porter\'s. However, I will still be down for b-ball amid my recovery.
Get your shorts ready!
Artest: GONE! He\'ll probably make back his lost NBA money because his record sales are gonna spike after this thing. I won\'t miss him a bit. Glad a message got sent, and the fans involved deserve worse than he does. See ya later sucker!

I thought it was c-o-u-g-a-r?
Regarding the Artest/Riot thing......I choose not to comment for my true feelings would most likely go completely misunderstood. People who throw stuff into live sporting events or at bands deserve whatever happens to them. However, I would never have thought that a professional athlete would ever cross the line between the whole average spectator/spectatee interaction no matter what....especially to riot starting extent. I guess Charles Barkley is off the hook now.... is the nba still pushing the whole "fan-tastic" angle? that would be a larf now....
it was only c-o-u-g-a-r when kids were present....i say no more!
**** Artest.
**** O\'Neal.
**** Jackson.
**** Wallace.
**** the drunken fans of the Motor City.
**** the entire coaching staffs of the Pacers and Pistons.
**** the Detroit police and the Palace of Auburn Hills security for not showing up.
**** ESPN for laying virtually no blame on the players and all of it on the fans.
**** Commish Stern for not suspending Jackson and O\'Neal for the entire season.
GO LAKERS!!!

Agreed!
This season has been shaping up to be a boring one anyhow. I\'m also tired of all the guys with huge contracts complaining and demanding time off for rap albums or trades to other teams. The sky is the limit for the demands of the NBA players. There are so many unappreciative A-holes and I don\'t want to support their gold and Escalade fetishes.
That\'s why you have to love the Breakfast. No matter how many people are at a show or how much money they make (or don\'t make), they still play their hearts out and do it with the best attitudes possible.
Plain & simple... alot of NBA players are nothing but thugs from the inner city... the worst part about it is that they are proud to be thugs. When you put a bunch of thugs together and they act like thugs, it really shouldn\'t be too much of a surprise.
Here\'s a guy making more money per game than many people will make in an entire year, and he goes & pisses it all away because he can\'t control his anger. It\'s pathetic. Hopefully the fines and suspension will snap him into the reailty that he\'s not in the ghetto anymore. IMO, there is zero excuse for his behavior... anger management problem or not. If you have an uncontrollable anger management problem, you shouldn\'t be playing in the NBA.
Artest would be in jail if he didn\'t have professional basketball.

so would 70% (at least) of the other punk asses that play in the NBA...
but then again, if Ray Lewis can be connected with a murder and still play...I guess it just pays to be rich...Lets thank OJ for this

Well, they\'ve never really been heckled either. If you throw a beer at Adrian or Jordan, I bet there\'s a decent chance they\'ll jump off the stage and run into the audience swinging. I\'ll be curious to test this theory tomorrow night.
