Is anybody with Pitchie today?  I fear for his safety.  Suicide watch should be in full effect.  If it all ends for the Mets today make ure we get confirmation that this kid is alive, ok?

Meanwhile, with the Lowell and Drew injuries and Beckett and Ortiz not really themselves, the Red Sox enter the playoffs as the worst team to make the playoffs in th wild-card era that wasn\'t from the NL West.  Oh well, let\'s shock the world again!

And what\'s up with the Yankees winning 19-8 at Fenway, the same score as the infamous Game 3 of the 2004 ALCS.  There\'s something significant about that, I can\'t put my finger on what it is yet.

I guess gado can NOT be the NL MVP, huh Klout?

Sorry Met fans, but that\'s two successive bed-shitters. These playoffs are going to be fun.

Their bullpen sucked all year. They didn\'t get two-out hits all year. They didn\'t deserve to make it.

Sincerely,

Christopher Piccirillo

P.S.: Rays over Dodgers

My two thoughts for the rest of the postseason are:

1. Go Tampa
2. Go Angels

The national league could sniff a wet fart for all I care.

I wouldn\'t mind the Cubs taking the NL. They deserve it after the team they fielded this season.

I am sticking with Tampa Bay. Might be a long shot because they lack post-season experience but I like the youth.

If it comes down to a Boston/Doger WS, I\'ll root for the Dodgers, but I\'m conflicted on that one.  On one hand I want to root for Torre/Mattingly (for obvious reasons), but on the other hand, I don\'t want to because I think Manny is a big piece of dog ****.  So, for that matter, I say go Tampa because I think they deserve it the way they\'ve played all year.  And I think it\'s obvious why I would say go Angels.

Good point about Torre. He has done well in L.A., deserves to make at least a run but I don\'t think the Dodgers have what it takes to be playing for the World Series. However, the NL looks like it is completely up for grabs.
