The NL east is wide open because it only has two teams over .500.

Considering all the problems that the Mets have had, to be only three games out in the loss column at this point is really not that bad.

I maintain my stance that they will win the National League East.

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

Every team gets one spot on the roster.  Maybe he\'s the best of the worst.  Are there any other stand-outs that should have made the cut?  Seriously, I don\'t follow the Mets, so I\'m clueless.
