• SER brawl last night after dude almost hit coco in the ribs.  coco charged the mound, dodged the **** out of a punch and then landed a good one to the pitcher\'s (shields) dome.  ended up with youkilis and manny somehow getting in a fight in the dugout afterwards.   sick brawl, but the clubhouse atmosphere doesnt seem too cool right now

• I wouldn\'t worry about the clubhouse atmosphere. These guys spend so much time together that that type of stuff is bound to happen from time to time. Everyone was all amped up and that probably exacerbated the situation.

  I would talk smack about the Rays, but I don\'t know what to say.  Besides, you gotta give them props for being the Red Sox\' biggest competition with 1/10th the payroll.
  
  Looks like there\'s nothing to do but be the same no-trash-talking, friendly, huggable wolf that I was during last football season.

  I could be dead wrong, but I really don\'t see the Rays being relevant in the AL East race come September. The thing about young pitching and hitting is that, the first time around, nobody has seen it. Kazmir and Garza are good, but I don\'t see a guy like Andy Sonnanstine overpowering teams the second or third time he faces them. The Rays are a good, young team that will be a huge factor in the Wild Card race this season and will be a team to take seriously for years to come.
  
  For the sake of baseball, I hope I\'m wrong. Even as a Red Sox fan, I would take the Wild Card spot if it meant that the Rays would win the AL East. The rivalry will never touch the history of the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry, but it\'s certainly on its way to creating 19 more must see games on the schedule every year.
