• I agree Paul, but I would also bet that Yankee fans reach to all corners of the country and a lot of the rest of the baseball world.  I consider myself lucky to have grown up in an area where there\'s such a team as the Yankees with such a rich history.

  Yep I\'m not even going to bother with the virtual waiting room this year...I really want to go to Opening Day at Fenway though, but I think you have to register to be picked just for a chance to buy tickets. :rolleyes:

  Could someone let me know when Yankees tickets go on sale? It seems as though they have their Flex Pack tickets on sale now but not single game.
  
  I have never been to Yankee Stadium so it\'s kind of important for me to do that this year...

  As a Yankees fan I applaud the deal.  It keeps our prospects in house while keeping him away from Boston.

  Wow. I never could have possibly imagined that the Mets would get Santana without losing Reyes, or any established major-leaguer that matter.
  
  Now all they have to do is lock up that left arm for the next five years.

  They still have to agee on a 6-7 year contract extension and he has to pass a physical. I wouldn\'t be too concerned with the physical but he\'s looking to get $150 million for 6 years, which is no gimme.
  
  I\'m really hoping for a Peavy/Santana showdown at Shea this August!
