The Lakers almost fell to Dallas due to complacency but pulled out the win to keep the best record in the league.
Bynum still a few weeks away but it has not been a big problem. As long as he\'s healthy for the Finals...

The East is getting clogged at the top and it looks like the Cavs will come out on top.

Well the playoffs need to get here fast. The Lakers are bored and tonight was a perfect example of that. Completely dominating the clippers and then they lost interest and had to play Kobe at the end.

Phil is going to have to change up his substitutions and coaching a bit to get this team\'s attention.

The West is pretty tied up under The Lakers but I think the Nuggets will rise up to face The Lakers in the West Finals.

While Orlando/Cleveland would be stellar and seems likely for the East Finals.

Aren\'t the Celts on like a five game winning streak??  ;)

I think Rondo and Allen are helping the team hold their own.

And I\'ll Note:  I have only felt a sheer obligation to cheer for the Celtics eversince I got conned into purchasing my 9 year old cousin a custom Celtics jersey with his name on it.   An investment like that deserves my cheering.   They better win again before that kid throws that jersey to the bottom of his closet..... right now, he lives in it.

Since Leith is more or less maintaining this thread solo these days, I may as well keep him company.  Is Adam Morrison as wookish as his NBA player profile pic would suggest?

Only one team can beat the cavs at home and it\'s not the celtics.

Forget the rest of the playoffs.

Lakers over Cavs in 6.

Can the celts make it as far as The Lakers did last year w/o a major component of their team?

I doubt it . The celts are not as talented as The Lakers are and are a pale imitation of the juggernaut of last year.

Even w/ Garnett the celts were not gonna get past the Cavs and now they just might not make it out of the 1st round.

This is just AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
**** the celtics

don\'t worry, scal will be back.

and why are you so worried about the celtics? seems to me like you are afraid of them. they are all you talk about. shouldn\'t you be focusing on the lakers? or do you have no hope for them either.

I\'m not worried at all. Can you read? These threads contain more posts than just the one above yours.
I post about the celts because its funny how many front runners are on this board so I talk ****.

Garnett if he comes back at all is not going to be any help.
Face it the celts are done and The Lakers have no problem with the Cavs.

Despite a great record, something has been missing from the Celtics this year - even when Garnett was in the picture.
