how can you love the sox and hate the pats but love the jets ? ! prick
By this logic, Dave Peck should move to Los Angeles or start cheering for the Knicks during basketball season.

Not cheering for all of the teams closest to your house doesn\'t make you a prick.

I never wish serious injury upon anybody, but speaking as an objective football fan, this is the most interesting injury that could possibly occur. I think the Patriots are a lock for eight wins, with the potential for 10. A fourth Super Bowl does not appear to be in the works, however.

Not looking good for you Pats fans

2008 New England Patriots w/o Brady= 9-7 at best

"Although no test results had yet to be revealed, one Patriots players went so far as to tell ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer after the game, "Cassel\'s our quarterback for the rest of the year."

Patriots coach Bill Belichick addressed the team after the win and told Cassel that if he is called upon, he will be counted on to step up and help the team.

The Patriots will bring in quarterback Chris Simms for a workout Monday. Sources told ESPN\'s Chris Mortenson journeyman Tim Rattay will also be brought in for a workout. When the Patriots drafted Brady in the sixth round in 2000, the decision was between Brady and Rattay. The Patriots took Brady because he is taller (6 feet 4 to Rattay\'s 6-0)."

I picked up Cassel at  2:01pm yesterday afternoon...

Brady was the most likely candidate for the cover of Madden before Favre retired. The Madden Jinx knows.

^^^ If Adrian Peterson is injured or tanks this season, I will actually believe this.

Haha, I have absolutely, positively nothing to prove in the NFL Fan Bravery Department.  I started the 19-0 countdown in week 1 last year and I booked my Super Bowl trip including airfare, 4 nights hotel, and Super Bowl ticket in week 5.  Find me anyone else who has ever come close to that.

Well, I hope all you little munchkins are having fun dancing in a circle and singing ding dong the witch is dead.  Just be careful what you wish for is all I\'m saying.  The Pats\' chance at making the playoffs went from 90% to 50% and their chance at a championship went from 30% to 4%.  They\'re not going to go undefeated, but they\'re not a team you want to face in a must-win game either.  And whichever one of you takes the greatest pleasure from the Brady injury is the one that is going to get screwed by the Patriots the hardest.  Just remember that.
