so are you an Angels fan or a Padres fan? No matter what team from the National League is in the World Series, I will always root for the National League. I am a Braves fan. They are from the NL East. Maybe if the Mets were in the World Series, I would root against them, but if the Phillies made the Series this year, I would be rooting from them for sure. Go Rockies.

Personally, if your favorite team resides in the NL than you should root for the NL on the simple fact it gives recognition to your league and your team.Then again, I am not sure who your favorite team is, but I remember you giving more props to the Padres this season than the Angels.

On a side note, I think I had it right back when I called the Phillies winning the division and the Rockies the Wild Card.

As for posting more about the Padres well I can\'t answer that other than they had a more exciting season.
The Angels ran away w/ their division thus it was fairly boring. The Padres played more exciting games this year that\'s all.

Dude I could see it if they were at Fenway but they were in Cleveland. That\'s why I laughed. Those melodramatic stances are for your home crowd to get them all jacked up or when you actually hit a home run that matters in an away park.

I wonder what Manny was looking at. Was it his home run? Or perhaps it was the scoreboard, which, incidentally, read Indians 7, Red Sox 3, at the time of his wannabe, walk-off Sunday stroll. Pffffftttttt......

On the bright side, Beckett sure will be nice and rested for Game 5.

So here we are. Francona is an idiot; trying to "save" your ace when you are down 2-1 is totally ridiculous. And even if we win the next 2 games, then, what... it all rides on the shoulders of Daisuke Matsuzaka? Great.


Well... I\'m not feeling entirely negative. I have great confidence in Beckett and Papelbon and I feel alright about Schilling. But for us to pull this off we can\'t just rely on power in the middle- the rest of the bums need to start getting some hits.

Also, **** you Dane Cook. I am tired of your stupid face.

Can\'t wait for the game tonight, regardless of the outcome.

Josh Beckett is having a great post-season. Alas, there is another day off. Didn\'t they always play 2-3-3? not 2-2-1-2? That extra day off between games 4 and 5 can impact the outcome of game 5.

My reaction is that the Yankees took a chicken **** way out of dealing with Torre. For a team that has never cared about money they decide to cut Torre\'s pay and offer him a performance based contract (which is a good deal), if they actually thought Torre would accept such an offer.The Yankees knew that deal would be turned down and then it would make it look like Torre didn\'t want the job. But, it is a business and as George gets closer to the grave, the entire Yankees organization is going to shift.
