Agreed, especially given the contestants. I\'m trying to picture George and Deblock in the same room in real life, having this conversation. I can see them getting heated while everyone else in the room is watching and in conniptions. Can we have these two square off at a show sometime? With DeBlock in the Hulkamania costume? Is that asking too much?
Wow! Did anyone catch the last two innings of the Phillies vs. Braves game today. The Phils led 8-2 heading into the 8th, Braves rallied for four runs in the 8th and three in the 9th. Amazing comeback. I only caught the game from the 6th inning on. Trust you will want to see these highlights. Kind of similiar to the Mets/Phillies game last week. This could be just the win the Braves were looking for as they gain a game in the NL East. As for the Phillies this is one loss that could send them tailspinning. With Delgado out for a while, maybe the Mets will go on a losing streak and the Braves can sweep them the next time they meet and hopefully we can win the division or at least the wild card. Hey if the Yankees can still win the AL East then why should I think any differently of the Braves chances. It\'s just too bad the Mets swept us last weekend.
All I know is that Soriano came out with the win and a WHIP of 1.00. Which helps me out in the fantasy playoffs.
Glad to see the Braves win a game.

The HH costume has been retired. Even though I\'ve dropped a couple of pounds, I don\'t want to imagine the ripples that my ass would make it spandex :yack: As for getting to a show, if there was something in the North Jersey area, it might be a possibility - the days of driving 7 hours each way to get to a show are long past me. But anyways, it looks like the Yanks picked up 2 games on the Wildcard and cut boston\'s lead to six, so we\'re on our way to taking the division! :vader:
damn padres. threw their top two pitchers at the dbacks the last 2 nights. young has struggled lately, especially against the dbacks, and it continued tuesday night. peavy wanted the mound on 3 days rest...and he ended up pitching his worst game in a very long time. it was his first loss on the road this year too. these two losses put them 1 back of the dbacks. im not worried about that. what im worried about is the confidence they just gained by smoking peavy. theyre a young team and the last thing they need (as a padres fan) is a lot of confidence going into the last ~20 games of the season. hopefully the padres take full advantage of their two off days (today and monday) before they play 20 games in 20 days to finish off the season.
Could have used a big day out of Peavy. Not good fantasy points in the playoffs.
Expecting an exciting end to this season.

Wolfy are you tryin to get my ass kicked? I don\'t want to square off with tha hulk. He has ass ripples. :wah:
But for ser the sox need to step it up cause yanks are playing real good baseball lately.
The Hulk is more like Silent Bob these days. Where\'s Jay?

Doubtful. we will get equal offensive production from green at first base and a slight upgrade on defense also allowing Lastings milledge and endy chaves to platoon in right adding defense
Big Deal
1. Reyes SS
2. Castillo 2B
3. DWright 3B
4. Beltran CF
5. ALou LF
6. Green1b
7. Endy/Milledge RF
8. Lo Duca
Makes our bench one man thinner but line up is still stacked.

I would worry about beating out San Diego/Arizona/St Louis/Philly out of the wild card.
Barring a meltdown the mets are in control of the division.
Need Reyes to snap out of his little slump but still the Mets line-up is hot right now.
Jeez this is like watching football. Amazing Posada held onto that.
 Ren, looking back, I
really should have bet some $$ when shaking your hand last night re:Yanks!!!
startin to really sweat in Boston. Magic number for division I believe is 9 with only 10 games left.
fuckin Gagne!
Can\'t believe the Yanks have come back this far. They\'ve been almost unstoppable since the break winning close to 70% of their games last time I checked. I don\'t think they\'ll win the East though. I\'m curious to see how they perform against the AL\'s top teams in the playoffs. Is just making the playoffs, after that awful first half of the year, going to make this season a success for you Yankees fans? I know each season you expect to win the World Series so the answer is probably no.
In the NL the Mets seem like they want to call it an early season. They\'ve lost their last 8 games against the Phillies. They\'re also on a 5 game losing streak with the chance to be swept today...by the Nationals. Yikes.
Padres have pulled within one game of the Diamondbacks thanks to their current 5 game winning streak. They may have been playing the Giants and Pirates (still 2 more left against them) but they\'re winning the games they are supposed to win. 3 more at home against the Rockies then off to San Francisco for 3 and finally Milwaukee for 4 games to close out the regular season. That Brewers series could be interesting if both teams are fighting for playoff hopes.
Go Padres!
