Yes. I always try to catch the US Mens team when they are televised. I also watch a lot of the club matches on the Fox Soccer Channel and Spanish channels. The Spanish channels used to drive my wife nuts because neither one of us speaks the language but now she has gotten used to it.

I have had the World Cup schedule posted on my bulletin board at work for a month.

i can\'t watch a sport where it takes 80 minutes to score one goal. i do give credit to the players, they surely have some awesome athletic ability. but if I want to watch a sport where a one goal lead is virtually a win, I\'ll watch tapes of pre-rule changes NHL hockey

Throughout the NFL season Univision shows Futbol Mexicano on Sunday afternoons.  I often had it on TV2.  I\'d watch if I got those nutty world sport channels but I don\'t, so it\'s never on.  I wish Ultimate were televised.

I work with espn international, so a day doesnt go by that includes soccer, be it uefa, world cup, south american, brazillian beach, etc, etc, etc.

It can get boring at times but I\'ve grown to like it more and more each year. There was a game the other day where they kicked back in from the sidelines and the guy smacked the ref right upside the head with it. wether it was an accident or not, he got red carded. pretty damn funny. :P

yea, but it may take 60+ minutes to watch one goal occur in old rules nhl. Im not for the new rules and ive been a longtime hockey fan, but you shouldnt harp on soccer, hockey is soccer with skates and sticks.

and its 90 minutes regulation

how about anyone goin to syracuse, weather permitting, we get a soccer game going on saturDAY, since its a two night run???

80minutes, 90minutes, same thing, I knew it was one of those, it\'s still just way too long of a game for any sport. To say hockey is soccer with skates and a stick is just ridiculous. Fighting aside, there is so much more physicality to hockey than soccer; last time I checked you couldn\'t purposely put a shoulder into someone on a soccer field; I know it happens alot, but I wouldn\'t consider it part of the game. Even pre-change hockey wasn\'t as boring to watch, even though few goals were scored there were more scoring opportunities and shots on goal in one twenty minute period than an entire 90 minute soccer match; maybe in part because people on skates move faster than people running and/or the playing surfaces being drastically different in size. Don\'t get me wrong, I\'m not knocking soccer, I\'m just saying that personally I find no excitement or entertainment in watching it, and you can\'t really compare it to hockey, pre or post rule changes. I know there are indoor soccer leagues and whatnot out there, I think there should be some sort of compact soccer arena league, much like they did with arena football.

Ant, come down to Warwick they have indoor soccer there, then you might change your mind a little. Indoor is a lot faster pace and you get 10-15 goal a game. one of the field in Hamden i think have a bar with a big picture window right behind one of the goals, fun stuff

you let me know when/where. im sure indoor soccer needs some drunk rowdy fans, too. I\'m sure it would keep my attention, but they need a professional league of the type on television is what I\'m gettin at. I\'m sure I\'d enjoy it live, I enjoy everything live.
