we\'re just gonna get them up there, Im pretty sure its not sold out, even if I did there\'s no way Im goin to CT and back tonight, heh
wow, what a wierd scenario, I made my 401st post on 4-01, but now its at 402, oh well
Wow, it\'s noon on Sunday, can\'t believe nobody\'s posted here yet. Well, I\'m a huge Duke fan and I don\'t like UConn (I went to UMass) so I was pretty pissed about the outcome of that game, but I gotta give mad amounts of credit to the Huskies, they are stacked. They only needed Okafor for half the game, and in the clutch, he was the man. He should\'ve gotten player of the year over Jameer Nelson. UConn did the usually impossible task of outplaying Duke in the last 5 minutes of a game, and not only did they outplay them, they completely dominated. Deng is such a moron, taking 4 lousy jumpers down the stretch with Duhon and Reddick in the wings. Coach K should\'ve pulled him right off the floor. I was not happy with the way the refs basically took over the game. It went both ways equally, it just sucked in general, and it really took away from what could have been a better overall game. I have never seen so many fouls called in a game. In the end I really just hope for a great game, so when Okafor went out in the first half, even though I was pulling hard for Duke, I was kind of upset about it. It takes away from the game, and cheapens the win if Duke wins. (If I may digress for a second, I think that the whole concept of fouling out is a horrible concept and should be done away with. A player\'s 5th personal and every personal thereafter should either be automatic double bonus for the other team, or even automatic technical, but not ejection.) So bottom line, highly highly entertaining game although not a "great" game due to the sloppiness and the fact that both starting centers spent more time on the pine than the hardwood!
Good luck to the Huskies on Monday for all you UConn fans, though I can\'t say that I can root for them. Schensher will destroy Okafor!
couldn\'t have said it better, wolf.. glad uconn won, but easily one of the worst games i\'ve ever sat through because of the way the refs took over the game.. terrible..
Agree about the oficiating...Cry it up Coach K, they did call fouls against Uconn too...Our star player did sit the whole first hal and we still stayed in it...Looks like its Connecticut in the Championship game on Monday and Tuesday...The Lady Huskies just won and will face Tennessee yet again!
UCONN double title? Would be neat and if the guys r hoops fans at all maybe it will jack \'em up some more.
Not gonna happen. I\'m probably the only G tech dude on this board but GO JACKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES, you are the only G tech dude on this board, but surprisingly and I dont think I have too many fellow die hard Husky fans either in here...Oh well, Im heading over to Uconn in 10 min. to watch the game...
**** GEORGIA TECH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO UCONN!!!!!!!!!!!
Too easy. Entirely unfair having 4 guys at 6\'10\'\' on one college team. The Huskies could definitely take on the Bulls or Warriors. Congrats to whoever won the pool too.
I must be the only CT resident to dislike the Huskies

Congrats though. . .

No college team could ever beat a professional basketball team... even a shitty one. UConn may have 3 or 4 players good enough to play in the NBA, but even my favorite team, the lowly Washington Wizards, have TWELVE.
The same goes 100 times over for a college football team vs. an NFL team, by the way.

now? maybe. . . but I\'d say there are a couple college teams that could have gave the Cardinals a run for their money this year.

It comes down to the offensive line. How many college offensive lineman weigh 300lbs. and can actually move? Maybe 30. Every NFL team has at least 3. The NFL QB would have all day in the pocket, and the college quarterback wouldn\'t even get a chance to drop back to pass.
