Goodbye Drew Brees. Sad to see you go.

So I just saw on ESPN that Drew is signing on w/ the Saints.

Not a move I am stoked on but completely understand. If Philip Rivers is half as good as he is supposed to be the Chargers may not suffer any kind of drop off in that position.
Drew took this team where it needed to be. He was great for team chemistry and knew how to use what he had. After seeing the playoffs this year I have to agree w/ the "experts" that the Chargers blew a perfect chance to go all the way this past year.

Well Goodbye and Good Luck Drew. Saints fans you finally have a quarterback.
Worrying is like praying for something you don't want.

I always felt the Chargers should have taken Larry Fitzgerald in the 2004 draft. I think they made a mistake by drafting Rivers when they already had a great college QB in Brees--who they drafted just three years prior--on the team. I don\'t know how you deal a quarterback who goes 21-11 over a two-year span and Fitzgerald is already on his way to being way better than Rivers.

But hey, half the players that my favorite team--the Browns--have drafted since their resurgence aren\'t even in the league anymore.

I\'m very unhappy with this whole scenario. I wanted Brees in Miami, where is should have been anyway (they passed on him in the draft). Now I find out today that the Phins get Cullpepper, which blows. I friggin hate that guys, but I guess I\'ll have to learn to like him. He\'s got a **** poor attitude that I hope Nick Saban can fix, and also lay down the law that he won\'t take any bullshit. Brees would have been a better fit, but oh well.

big changes occuring in the NFL this season. going to be quite interesting. I just woke up and caught the end of sports on my local station and heard about a few changes.

:heads over to ESPN to look it up:
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.
