I have decided to branch out into audio a bit and the first job I get is setting up the supplementary P.A. system for Charger games. Yeah they suck but hell I get to see the other teams that come in too! We set up the P.A. the day before and then Gameday we just come in, take seats on the field and make sure it works through the game. Hell yeah!! Once I do it a few times and scope out the schedule I will try and get some pics posted.

you lucky dog.. :) awesome.. i\'m probably gonna be watching a lot of AFC games this year (although i\'m a giants fan), simply because comcast doesn\'t carry FOX in HD, but they do carry HD CBS.. we\'ll see how long that lasts.. i may break down and get an OTA antenna so i can get some HD NFC goodness..

Yeah talk about luck. I avoid audio like the plague usually but know enough to get by. This job basically came about due to some past contacts that happen to remember me helping them out like 5 years ago. Never burn bridges you may need to cross them later !
This year is gonna be fun in the NFL for sure. Other than the PATS it seems all up for grabs.

Nice! The field looks great! I just worked an event at Qualcomm last night.

had them both last year for football season. usually if you sign up for DTV around now, you\'ll essentially get NFLST free if you get the premier package. worked out really well for me, and i highly recommend DTV over cable to anyone.

unfortunately, when we moved to our new house, our line of sight isn\'t good enough to get DTV, and we had to go back to Comcast, who i loathe. i guess the decent news is that Comcast has more HD channels than DTV, but DTV has FoxHD, dual-tuner TiVo, and is far less expensive. take the good with the bad, i guess.

if you go DTV, i highly recommend you use Expert Satellite. their service is fantastic, and sure enough, they\'re currently offering the Sunday Ticket offer i spoke of before:

in other news, i think we hijacked leith\'s thread. :D

\'Twas the Drum and Bugle Corps Tour of Champions. My brother is a member of Esperanza and they were hosting the event. I got to guard the tunnel. That was pretty groovy cause I could still see the shows from there.
