Finally have a lead @ the end of a quarter! Hope it is the same way @ the end of the 4th. Seems like the Lakers realized they need to bring their "A" game.

not looking good, guys.. pistons are doing everything right, and outplaying the balls out of the lakers. pistons are sinking everything, and absolutely OWN the boards. you can\'t ask for more than 36/20 from shaq, who has been the only one showing up.. kobe\'s been less than stellar, taking tons of illadvised shots.. 9 points from our bench?!
bottom line is, detroit\'s D is killing the lakers. in game 2, the lakers really stepped up their own D, and put really good pressure on detroit the entire game. that was the only game they played defense though. there\'s no excuse for giving up 32 points in the 4th quarter.
pistons haven\'t won it yet, but i\'m not too optimistic. they\'ve clearly been a better team, and unless the lakers make some big time adjustments, this series will be over tomorrow night.
Oh well, so the Lakers lose one. Nothing to be upset about, they still won 3 out of 5 and all those other titles in the past. The Lakers losing 1 finals is like a millionaire losing a $20 bill. Que sera, get \'em next time.
yeah, but it still hurts deep (added with the fact that we dont know what will shake out this offseason, karl possibly retiring, gary getting thrown out onto the streets, kobe getting possibly locked up or even worse opting out of his contract, phil riding off into the sunset with his girlfriend whose the owners daughter, or shaq just getting older).. we are on the edge..
they have to win tomorrow.

This is what I like to see. A real fan w/ the myopia we enjoy as Laker fans. Yep Detroit still has not won 4 games. Tomorrow is HUGE.

The Lakers are about to add yet another chapter to their storied history by becoming the first team to ever rally from down 3-1 in the Finals. Dynasty.
And when they win it on Sunday, I\'ll say it was never in doubt because I\'ve always believed in Los Angeles until they\'re either officially champs or officially done, which I told Pec immediately following the Game 4 loss. Optimism.
The bottom line is, despite the predictable Pistons media ass-kissing, you can\'t claim victory a best-of-7 series with three wins. It\'s the first to four and it will be the Lakers. Confidence.
And on Wednesday morning, all the media suits who wrote off the Lakers after Game 4 will do their typical .180 and start crowning them champs. Typical.
I\'ll simply smile, knowing I never thought Los Angeles Lakers were done. Gotta win four to win to take the NBA Championship. Obvious (or so I thought).

once the lakers win tointes game 5 then they will get their home court back and then just wrap it up with 2 home wins. should be a great game to watch tonite, hopefully someone else steps it up besides kobe and shaq and the lakers D definately cant allow 32 pts to the sorry detroit pistons offense. and your right chriss first one to 4 not 3
MailMan in Street Clothes!!!!!! Gonna be extra tough tonite. But its a good thing because they will need him for game 6 and game 7 which reminds me looks like I will have to tape game 7 since I have to work the phish show at spac, which sucks because I had to work the other nite when the lakers got beat by 20 in game 4
