For Wolf: The Lakers? Kobe Bryant was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, March 22 through Sunday, March 28. Bryant guided the Lakers to a 3-0 week, averaging a stellar 35.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists in wins over Sacramento, Minnesota and Utah. He posted 36 points in 37 minutes in the Lakers 115-91 rout of the Western Conference-leading Sacramento Kings.
Really playing like a guilty man huh?

Mailman delivering again. 2 assists and 1 rebound short of a triple double. Yet another win. Looks like they want to run the table and wrap up the #1 seed.

Lakers can get within 1/2 game of the Queens. How Sweet!
Will Round 4 against Yao go to Shaq? Hope so. Look for the Mailman to deliver some protection for Shaq tonite. Believe It!! ( I still can not get used to this rooting for Karl)

Yeah where\'s all the Haters now? Lakers in 1st place and w/ the Queens falling apart, Lakers have the tiebreaker against S.A. I am bursting w/ pride for the Lakers. Shaq has regained his dominant form, Karl is proving to be the best pick up since getting Kobe, Gary playing strong and keeping his mouth shut, Kobe playing like he can and the bench keeps comin\'.
Go Lakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I laugh at all the Haters

So back on track w/ 3 to go. Tied up w/ Sacto. and S.A. If they can win Sun. against Queens they should be in a good spot for 2nd seed. Warriors always screw them up though and Portland is no sure thing but I\'m sure they understand what\'s at stake. Lakers gots this one all!

A deliberately lifeless showing. Phil Jackson Psychology 101. No need to worry. The Lakers thrive on winning tight games on the road in the playoffs.

I wish I could agree w/ that assessment. Due to having a glut of Laker coverage much of which does not air nationally, I do not think that is accurate. Phil WAS disappointed and the team was in disarray. This WAS a MUST WIN. They did not. Shaq says he\'s not impressed w/ Sacto\'s performance but also not impressed w/ Kobe\'s reluctance to shoot. I am not in panic mode by far but it is not going to be as ez as we may have thought just last week.
I only see 2 of the 3 series going to game 7 those being round 1 and 3. Lakers will win in 5 whoever they play in the middle series. Then also in 5 against whatever least conference team makes it.

Let\'s give it up for the Pacific Divison Champions! Bryant misses that shot, the Lakers are the four seed. He hits it, they\'re the two, and head of their division. Somehow, he hits it. It would have been absolutely brutal for the Lakers to have cost themselves home-court in the second round as a result of twice losing to Portland, the second time with the Blazers already eliminated. But they won tonight, displaying the gutty clutch play that defines great postseason teams. And the Kings helped by losing to almighty Golden State. The regular-season soap opera is over. The fun starts this weekend. I like the Lakers chances.
