So as predicted the East has one sub .500 team, one at .500
and 2 with 42 and 44 wins while in the West the lowest seed has 46 wins.
Huge difference between the East\'s top 4 and bottom 4. While the competition in the West
remained as tough as usual. How anyone thinks the East matches up in the
least to the West is perplexing.

cuz the top 4 in the East are ranked evenly w/ the top 4 of the West and those are the only teams that really matter.

Yeah the West is thick and the East is top-heavy, but regardless who it ends up being if an East team takes it down this fact really doesn\'t matter that much. If the West sweeps in the Finals after a bunch of battles in conference, I\'ll concede victory to you leith no doubt. I do understand though, if the Bulls were in the West they wouldn\'t have won 62 games. Same goes for the top 4 seeds. However, a bunch of teams in the West might suffer considerably with some switches. Whatever, all hypothetical bullshit.

Who the **** is as pumped as I am for this to get going?!?! Goddamn I\'m giddy.

Even with the C\'s dropping to 3rd place going into the conference playoffs, I am completely excited.   Last night\'s episode of The Association got me pumped up.  No matter what, the series with the Knicks is going to be down and dirty east coast basketball.  And I can\'t wait.  I really hope the C\'s pull it together and get to the finals.

I have a feeling an eastern conference team IS winning this year.  be it the celtics or the bulls.   or hell, even the heat. I have a gut feeling the Lakers and/or the West are going down.

The Bulls need to worry about getting past the Pacers, who all records aside are a tough young team.  So much for homecourt advantage.

You continue to show how little you know about the NBA.
How about that homecourt advantage?

pacers fell apart.  they could\'ve won that game, but didn\'t make the right moves in the closing minutes.  oh well.  you\'re still a ****, leith.

that doesn\'t change the fact that homecourt advantage only matters if you win that first game.  if you lose at home, you can toss that advantage out the window.

but, no i don\'t know **** about the sport cuz i\'m not a frontrunning **** like leith.  god forbid i say the bulls need to start worrying when they\'re down by 10 to the 8th rank team.  clearly they did start worrying, cuz they got their **** together in the last 4 minutes.

If that game was in Indianapolis the Bulls lose. They were able to get their **** together because the Pacers melted under the pressure of the Bulls crowd. It\'s a different season and the homecourt advantage is a difference maker. Game 7 NBA Finals 2010 should have shown you that.

I was at Phish, I missed that game;)  homecourt is definitely a difference maker, but if the home team loses game 1, then they run the risk of losing it in less than 7 games where that game 7 doesn\'t matter.  clearly it helped today, but who knows the pacers don\'t have the playoff experience yet.  granted the bulls haven\'t made it out the first round in the past few years, but those 7 game series\' w/ the Celtics certainly gave them some experience.  we\'ll see how long they can get carried by Rose.

Bulls are fine. Classic case of an unexpected top seed feeling the jitters like they hoped they wouldnt, and a young hungry team with absolutely nothing to lose bringin the heat. Honestly, the Bulls played like **** and still won. Thats a great sign. And trust me, other guys are going to step up at different times, we\'re thicker than bball fans with avg Bulls knowledge think. Aaaaaand D-Rose will NOT STOP taking over when he has to. Seriously, this is why he is MVP. Mo fugga sees red and nothing stops him. Not saying we\'re winning a championship this year after yesterday, just saying we\'re as strong as any case. I liked the style of victory yesterday......but yeah I was shitting my soul for awhile.

And **** yeah CP3. Absolute animal down the stretch. Kobe looked **** pissed and a bit lost last couple of minutes. I\'m still taking LA in 6.

And come on Knicks. Solid first half.
