I agree. it was really awesome that reggie miller was there. It was great to see Ray get that record. He\'s been my favorite player since his UCONN days.
As for the game, I already said it on your facebook, but i\'ll say it again, beating the Celtics when they really didn\'t have a true and/or 100% healthy center playing, is weak. Perkins is still sluggish. Big Baby is too small (height wise) to play center against your team. We needed a real back up (one of the O\'Neals). But yes, its just an excuse.

I honestly cannot BELIEVE they lost to the Cavs. I couldn\'t even predict that. I am literally shocked, baffled.....and very amused. The Cavs, with the win, have only won 10 games all season.
As for the C\'s, the Nets actually came out to play tonight and made the team work for the W. It was a real chippy game. First half, C\'s seemed like they were in a funk but in the end, they pulled through. Now time for the hyped up 3 point contest on Saturday between Pierce and Ray. Obviously, my bets are on Ray.

pfffft. what kinda celtic fan are you? in 2008 when ray allen dedided to go on the slump of all slumps, you know what paul pierce did? won us the nba championship. plus he\'s been a celtic forever and seen us through our bad times and good. some of those pierce, walker, mccarty teams were great to watch

I didn\'t become a Celtic fan until they got KG and Ray. Personally, i feel like Pierce makes poor choices at key times. He plays selfish on occasion. Its no coincidence, after a selfish Pierce Play, Doc\'s huddle will consist of "together" and "no hero plays". Pierce may have stepped it up in the 2008 run, but he did not win them the entire season. Sure, currently, Pierce statistically scores the most. But most accurate? No. Because he takes a lot of bad shots. Hey, at least I can be honest and realize the faults of my team. Overall, Pierce is a good player. But I have every right to say he isn\'t my favorite.
If I had to rank my top fav celtics, they go as follows: 1) Rondo 2) Ray 3) KG 4) Davis 5) Pierce.
I will also add, in the two crucial final games last year against the lakers...pierce was 5-15 (game 7) and 6-14 (game 6). Not that I am blaming him directly. We had other problems....
