you guys all are pullin for psygn an episode 3. from what ive heard of the newer material i am a fan of psygn, but i like Scheme just as much.
Scheme isn\'t in the poll
yeah man, i\'d take scheme over all of these.
I\'m going with the Eppie3 since it makes me so
i didnt see the poll, i checked out the thread when it first started, but i ended up voting for ep3 when i saw the choices. again, i didnt wear my helmet today :boat:
Good Things finally gets a vote.
That song put me in a trance in Syracuse the other week!
Psygn a close second. Ep3 seems like it\'s still being developed to me, and Honeybutter didn\'t do much for me on New Years.
i went Psygn even though a month ago i wouldve gone with Ep.3 -- im a huge fan of the melody in Psygn, it does sound very Beatles but clearly Breakfast and its one of those tunes that pours out color... i guess gold to be specific. yeah, its gold.
and the jam, whaaaa?? fuckin whacky, who knows where theyll take it in the future, im personally scared.
Went Eppy III. Hate the name "Honey Butter" but like the song. The Slip has a song called "Honey Melon" and I have always referred to that song as the quintessential hippie-jamband song name. That\'s all I can think of when I hear Honey Butter. Of course, every SCI song could also be the quintessential hippie song, but that\'s not what this thread\'s about now is it?
voted episode 3. see drums n\' guitar @ puppethouse dvd for confirmation.
yeah man, i\'d take scheme over all of these.
scheme\'s like 8 years old....this is for NEW songs yo

see earlier posts. i know this.
someone else suggested scheme, then was corrected and i was saying that if scheme were in the mix i wouldn\'t have voted epy3.
long story short, we\'re on the same page.
Was a tough call between Ep 3 and Psygn. At the moment I\'m saying Ep 3 by a hair, but may well change my mind the more I hear these tunes.
BTW, I think that makes my 1000th post - don\'t know where the time has gone!
 def. a tough call, but the places I\'ve journeyed to during many a Psygn jams makes the answer obvious.
I like how it is being thrown around in between other songs at times, and seems like the band is extremely familiar and comfortable in thier improv when it comes to this tune.
p33p the Beardslee Halloween show from this past year (10/27/05):
Set II: Rufus > LDZ > Psygn > The Vermont Song > Rufus > Fairy
epic jamzzz, brah.
congrats to Boombox on your 1000th post!! :stoned:
