Announcing Summer Madness:
The first ever .info Tournament Of Tunes!

thebreakfast.info is proud to announce the first ever Tournament Of Tunes! Set up like the NCAA Basketball tournaments, the TOT will take every Breakfast song, and put them head to head for YOU to vote on! Each song will be given a seed and a region, and first round match-ups will begin on Sunday, June 12th. Each round of voting will last one week, and the winner will move onto the next round. In the end, we\'ll see what the fan-favorite Breakfast song is!

Your input is needed!

Once the tournament begins, PLEASE take the time to vote on each and every song vs. song battle! The more total votes we have, the more meaningful this will be! At some point this week, a new forum will open up for the tournament, and the brackets will be released. At this time, you\'ll also be able to make and discuss your \'picks\' for the outcome of the tournament. The polls will open on Sunday, June 12th!

this idea came to me at the lion\'s den the other night.. i was thinking about the buquebus/rufus thing, and thought this would be a great idea.. hope it works out!

Anybody remember when Jambands.com did this with jambands a couple years ago? Psychedelic Breakfast was a 15 seed and suffered a tough first round defeat to 2 seed MMW. If only we had used our incredible internet ballot-stuffing team :lol:

Can\'t predict final four and stuff yet before the brackets are out, but I\'ll throw a couple predictions out there. (Note these are predictions, not necessarily what I want to see, just what I think we will see.)

Sleepers: Mayfly Disarray, Phaddy Boom Baddy
Dark Horse: Kote
Upset special: Spunk
Diaper Dandy: Gravity

ive been waiting for something like this. some sublime fansite did this same thing with sublime songs a while ago (STP was the winner). is it just going to be our opinion on songs performed at their best, or are we going to be voting based on specific performances on a given night?

are we betting on this, or is it just for fun? I\'m gonna be on vacation and not on computer from 6/17-7/1...is this going to remove me from the festivities?
Can I just fill out a sheet at the begining, and not vote if I\'m not around?
