Do you guys pay for the handbills? how much do they charge you at Kinkos?
EASTER EGGS, EASTER EGGS!!! (which i shamefully havent sent out yet)

In order to reach more potential fans, I\'m limiting the distribution to one cd per handbill. I\'d love to give people complete shows and 3-disk Easter Eggs, though a compilation of good live tunes should do the trick. I may even buy more disks once my first hundred are gone, though I\'m sure burning 100 disks will be a long process.
I\'m trying to strike a balance between funk, epic rock, etc. I think I\'m going to outline my sampler by listing my favorite renditions of a bunch of tunes then selecting the best from there.

:cough:work:cough:
other than that i pay for everything i give out
I would just hand out discs and be done with it.... BEST PROMO EVER, plus we\'re not killing trees.
^^you\'d have to give a track list too though, and that\'s on dead trees
Not necessarily... Anyone who really cares would hop online and check out the setlist.
just put a .info on it and a post on here a thread or whatever with track dates, track names and a link to the archiev.
ya cd\'s is the way to go, i know hence my grassroots thread. I\'ll burn discs all night but i only have so much money to just throw around.
The key is to buy the cheapest generic crap out there. You\'ll get some coasters, but at the same time saving a tons of money.
if i get handed a free cd at a show, i\'m not really gonna put any effort into it. if it ain\'t all on the disc or on a sleeve, then odds are i\'m not gonna find out.

yeah the plastic the cd is made out of is so much better for the environment than paper after its discarded....
