In a post here on .info on Thursday, drummer Adrian Tramontano responded to questions that have been raised this year about the future of The Breakfast:

ok, since its taking my band forever to make an official statement of the future of the breakfast.... i might as well tell you, the fans, a couple of things. the band is in serious debt and has been for a long, long time, and it has gotten worse the more we\'ve played .we are playing the markets that pay us the best this year to hopefully get out of it. and by liquidating everything like the van and trailer, crew, etc., it might happen. so everybody is thinking about serious changes in their lives to become successful at music and biz... the breakfast will always play together from time to time.... they are just too good not to. the times had and still to have are the best and an education or money cannot buy that. there will be more info on this subject in the future. i\'m not good at this **** so i will stop typing..

thanx,
adrian

Kind of ironic for things in my life right now. I will support wherever I can and see them whenever I can.  Economy sucks.  Gotta keep trucking.

wish I was just a billionaire I would pay off all their debt, buy them a tour bus, the best management possible, a crew, a steady merch supply, and a steady salary for each of them for a contract to play 250 shows a year.

would be a great investment..  If money ends up being what kills the bfast then it truly is the root of all evil as far as I am concerned.
