Compilations best of suck imho... Besides what people define as the best performances is subjective... Do you include rare bust-outs or best jams or longest jam... Personally, I like to listen to the whole show...

Sorry, I just don\'t like compilations... Especially when it\'s basically just the longest jams of the tour w/ a couple fan favs... If that\'s what you want to listen to, that\'s cool... It\'s just not my cup of tea... I\'d prefer to hear all the tunes, not just the long ones... If you preceive that to be negative, then so be it...

well, when a guy asks for a compilation for a specific reason (lack of hd space), for you to come in saying you don\'t like them for reasons having nothing to do with his issue, it is negative. are you having hd space issues? no? then the comp wouldn\'t be intended for you, now would it? you had nothing to add to the discussion or be helpful with, you just had to throw in your own opinion about something that wasn\'t even asked. if the dude had asked if compilations would be the best way to chronicle the tour, then your response would have been fine, negative or not. personally, i would have gone the \'go get an external for $50 and dl the whole tour\' route, but that would require you to think about the other person\'s situation and not just your own completely irrelevant thoughts on the question at hand.

If I have an opinion on something, I\'m going to post it in a "public forum"... If I never commented unless someone asked my opinion on something, I\'d never post and that probably holds true for most of the people on the board...

As for the HD space issue...
1. Do you really need all shows on your computer at once?
2. Download a show, burn it to CD and delete from your complete, thus leaving you with the same amount of HD space you started with.
3. Get a cheap portable mp3 player (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10980482)
4. If money is an issue, you can stream an audience recording of all the shows at http://www.phishows.com
