that weird beard set was the onset of somethin\' fierce. i must\'ve ran back to my car 7 or 8 times to fill my jack n coke during that set and the breakfast, luckily it was close. the disco tent was great and smelled like mothballs all night. i think jesus was there too.
This album is Fantastic!! Prasanna is a phenomenal guitarist and the melding of styles on this album - from heavy metal to blues to free jazz to mind bending (all within ragas, taboot!) entrance you and hold you enrapt until the final, gorgeous indian melody.

I see \'Electric Ganesha Land\' as the journey of the modern rock guitar through the ancient temple towns of South India with the sounds of Carnatic music wafting through the air. Along the way, if you happen to smell incense or curry, see snakecharmers or C++ programmers, think Appu and Manjula alongside an elephant parade, walk along Madison Avenue or Mylapore, do enjoy the imagery. Don\'t worry about it... I found some of it myself... As for gay requests, it\'s a matter of taste, but you can\'t knock STP or Rain (no different than Beatles A-Z except that they\'re making a career out of it)...
yoda (and everybody else, i suppose), for the most part you can find these things without having to go through .info. a google search of "[the music you want]" and "mediafire" or "megaupload" will likely find a link you\'re looking for.
another good site i use is
captain crawl. it searches music blogs for music links and tends to fill in a lot of gaps that the download sites may miss

I was gonna say the same thing about just searching through google or going to a site like btjunkie.org.
I did not, however, know about captaincrawl. I definitely gotta check that out.
