I don\'t see Toad\'s printing up more passes. Something tells me they are fed up with us.
would it be a big deal if we just printed a bunch ourselves?
probably.
they cost more than handbills.
They are a certain color and are cardstock. I have no idea what they will run.
yeah i mean arent they just colored card stock?
yeah i mean arent they just colored card stock?
they are but cardstock isn\'t that cheap nor that expensive. How does Toad\'s feel about us reproducing tickets? I don\'t care but, hey...
PLEASE DO NOT PRINT YOUR OWN PASSES!
If you do, and the club finds out it would be real trouble for the band. (and over a stupid $2 discount on admission). We need to help the band, not risk getting their asses in a sling with their largest local venue.
Any other type of flier you print up is cool- 100% upside no risk for anyone.
Toad\'s is not sick of us. The intial problem was underpaid lazy employees not wanting to do their job. I went up the ladder to get more passes, and now management is thinking \'hmmm, if there is so much interest in this show, let them pay full price\'. Hey, it\'s a business.
no need to get the band into trouble here. I will see what I have left for material. We can only push so hard.
Is anyone planning on hitting up the Machine this evening? It will be the last real chance to promote the 1000th show. I have plans of making it but just wondering if anyone is going to be around, could definitely use the help passing out some flyers, etc.
Would have loved to see The Machine and help ya out, but after 9 1/2 hours of taking pictures at a wedding, I was SHOT!!!!
^ quite a few moe.rons have mentioned getting flyers and DVD\'s at the Philly show Friday night. If folks can\'t make it out on Saturday, at least you\'ve stirred up their interest in checking out a future show!
emails sent, threads posted, pestering of friends and acquaintances begun!
come one, come all!
Things are looking positive. This place is going to be packed. Plan accordingly.
