Author Topic: Will THE BREAKFAST play Block Island this year? (Read 2535 times)

Just trying to get a feel here. I don\'t need anything definite on dates or anything, but just a reasonable guess on whether the band will get out there this year. I am planning a trip out there this summer and I would obviously put special consideration on dates the B\'fast would be playing.

Hopefully I can get a band member\'s response...just a "we\'re looking into it" or "not on the radar" or "not going to happen".

sure, and deblock is going to hit every show on the next tour. both COULD happen.

It could never happen. Even now it couldn\'t happen; with #2 coming in August shows are going to be even that much harder to get to...

Zapp, why would Block Island be a long shot? It isn\'t far away, is a mini vacation for both fans + band and they could hopefully play two weekend nights if possible. Wasn\'t the ferry also free for the band as part of their contract to play there?

Unless Captain Nick\'s (or the other spot, can\'t remember the name) isn\'t interested, I\'m not sure why Bfast wouldn\'t put it on the top of the list.

Isn\'t that sort of counter-productive? Bringing in a side-project just to get TB an opening slot? I would have thought having Jordan back would raise some eyebrows and atract some attention...
