What does the Grateful Dead have to do with my statement? I don;t think that music has to be complicated to be good. You read my statement wrong. I was comparing AOD to boring, non-complicated jazz that is no good...just like AOD is no good. Please tell me you aren\'t equating their talents to the Dead\'s, PLEASE. not to make this sound like PT, but old school Strangefolk is some serious ****.. those guys had a sound unlike much that can be heard today.. all you need to do is find a show from like 97.. you\'ll be impressed

Only heard shows from the last tour before Reid left - can you recommend a date and I\'ll check the archive; am always open to re-evaluating bands.

Gotta agree with Walshy on this one. Percy Hill... no way can I call that good jazz. AOD can maybe maybe mayyyyyybe compared to a smooth jazz band covering elevator rock.

Good jazz? Try something like Dave Douglas mothafucka.

No, good jazz doesn\'t have to be complicated or technical or challenging I suppose. But I think that particular genre of music tends to be boring when it isn\'t any of those things. No, I take that back. Doesn\'t have to be challenging, but it does have to be interesting.

Also, I think there is really nothing at al intersting about AOD.
