Don\'t understand what they are saying but I still find it good.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

call me a noob, but I actually felt special for a sec...

Playing Toad\'s 7/3.  I\'ve heard so much about this guy, always meant to give a listen- never have.  Recommended starting point?

His \'08 self titled album & 2004\'s "I\'m Wide Awake, It\'s Morning" (under the name Bright Eye\'s)are his only albums I enjoy.  The others... are not very good...IMO.

Ben Harper and Relentless 7.

It reminds me alot of early Lenny Kravitz.  Heavy, fuzzy, guitar parts. Sometimes melodies are sacrificed for lyrical message, but the groove carries it.  I like the drummer.

(I\'ve never been a Ben Harper fan either. Surprised I\'m enjoying this so much)

I actually am a big Ben Harper fan, up until his last 3 albums.  Prob his best of the last 3 but still not a big fan. IMHO Diamonds on the Inside is his peak.  Both Sides of the Gun was 2 30min CDs priced as 2 CDs (which really annoyed me since they coulda fit on 1 disc)  I found it all drab and boring.  Lifeline was better it had kinda a 70\'s soul feel to it, but still all very similar and def a little sleepy.  Some of this opinion is based on the lives shows I saw for those discs, both not very good.   Where as I saw BH&R7 @ Williamsburg Hall of Music, a much better show than the last few I saw.  Also very cool to see Ben in that size venue, had alot of fun, (was given a afterparty pass but didn\'t meet Ben :()  I def think that the R7 album is the best of his last few but I have the same problem with it  I did the 2 before it, the whole album sounds the same.  I don\'t know I think I might just be jaded, and a little over Ben.  But yeah I\'ll burn you a copy if you want Billy, I\'ve also got a live disc that came with the pre-order if you want.

oh and currently listening to:
Robert Plant & Allison Krauss- Raising Sand
Mike Doughty- Haughty Melodic
BH&R7 (I still like it :) even after all the **** talk)
