ug. chris and me busted ourselves one afternoon just to get that video ready and they didnt even use it. what a waist.

for those that care, the video was :15 seconds taken from the guitar solo from demension 5  on new years. looked pretty good too.

I think i mentioned to Chris and Paul that the footage did not work. Of course it would have been used.

i tried to view it and couldn\'t and Paul said it may not work on some machines.

we tried.

Here is PB\'s jammys promo video. Its only 10 seconds long and its not full quality, so even dialup people should be able to download it. I compressed it from 40 MB down to 3 MB. You can view it with windows media player.

after we finished editing we did a transfer from pc to dv tape, then an analog transfer from dv tape to dvd-r on my dvd player/recorder. i just got the thing so i didnt know how compatible dvd-rs recorded from it would be on other players. I had previously recorded onto a dvd+rw and got it to play on a playstation 2 of all things, so when i burned the 10 second promo onto a dvd-r for josh i figured it would play on everything since dvd-r should be easier for any random dvd player to read than a dvd+rw would be.

exactly what i was trying to say - we spent all that time, and it wasnt useable. oh well. now we know what not to do for next time.

anyway, its cool that chris posted it for all to see.
