just a FYI, springfield advocate is actually called the "valley advocate"

also, more gigs in NoHo.....Umass has a TON of people wanting to go to shows, and the iron horse shows ALWAYS have a huge draw.  People must notice the lines down the street to get into the place in the coldest night ever.  Maybe co headline a show at Pearl St also with another big name band

RAQ?

RAQ?

Raq is playing the upstairs ballroom at pearl st in Nov? and will have a hard time filling the place.  If they could both team up for a 1 night show (just to try it out, maybe more shows later) and alternate sets TB>raq>tb>raq, that would be a good night of music and also would probably create some press and a buzz about the band.

ps....i only say raq finishes becuase technically is it there gig to start with.

hey its give and take. they close one night, if it works out they team up again and tB closes the night out. I would say your right, and i think it would get a lot more people if the two of them did it. that would be a sick night of music as far as i\'m concerned

hell yeah! if anyone isn\'t going to naragansett tonight they should hit up the toad\'s place show and reiterate these thoughts to them. i think raq and the breakfast would be great fits for each other.

Another suggestion. If your going to play ithaca again make SURE SURE SURE Jimkata is opening.

I would say do the same thing in other college towns. Find out who the heady college band is and make sure they open for you.

ya, i don\'t know how some of these opening bands are picked but it might make some sense to gather some info from locals to see who have a decent crowd and book them. there are def. some decent bands in RI but i\'ve never heard of the guys who are opening tonight. maybe this should go in the suggestions thread but some more thought from whom ever needs to go into getting opening bands

last time that happened there were some grimey sit ins, i believfe a china cat>i know you rider encore in sHartford

ps.  i like tricky ways. nothing displays versatitlity like a genre bending repertoire of originals

I saw RAQ play with TB back in the day at the old in Higher Ground in Winooski VT... sick show! Chris Michetti sat in for What the Funk>Vermont song and they killed it. I also like when they get together with Seth Yac... best blues guitarist of their generation. They rip songs up together (Little Wing, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed). They should hook up with him more, I don\'t know what the hell he\'s been up to these days.

And, of course, if the Breakfast is looking for a special guest when they come to Boulder, I am always available to rip a tune:) VT song? I am originally from VT, its only appropriate. If I\'m on the bill all my friends will come, who will tell their friends, etc. Good promotional tool, yes/no?

More suggestions for the band....

-Cover a rezi song(s) Ellis can recommend some good ones.

-Do the thing I said about jimkata. it\'s a must and you could own this town like you did with rezi and oneonta. its a winning formula for other college towns too.

-More multiple night runs at different venues

-Make sure not to book shows in college town when college is not in session or first/last week of school.

-Once Striker gets all the material down pat, play some shows without writing the setlists beforehand.

-Do THIS superfast version of coma some how.....that is the fire right there. people would freak out if you did that at the perfect time or something close to it anyway you get the idea. it would be funny and sick at the same time
