maybe dave is trying to change the format of the TOT to be voting for the previous year in tunes. sorta like the oscars. so the 2007 TOT would be in early 2008 and would only cover january 1, 2007 - dec. 31st, 2007....

or maybe this one just slipped under the radar....

listening to the Red Square version and based on that you might be right but there are a couple more weeks of shows before all is said and done and a ridiculous performance of any of these songs could potentially launch it to the next level
