what\'s the * on gladys pimp for?
This is a great show but I gotta say, they are just so much better now that this really does not rock my world. I can understand it being a favorite for many that were there and it is a ripping show don\'t get me wrong but ehhh I prefer a more complete sounding Breakfast now.
I am just saying, so if you want to flame me go ahead but it will not matter.

Leith always has to be the contrarian.
Quadfest is Sick!!!, and I don\'t use the term lightly.

Though most of the time you would be right, in this case no. I was unsure if I would be home to listen to the show so I pulled it out of my rather large archive of PB(Thanx again Joe!), along w/ 3/30/01 Butterfield. I listened to them both and while I enjoyed them very much. Having just heard FF7 and having Beardslee ready, I just found I now prefer to listen to the band now. It is no longer the Tim and Adrian show but rather The Breakfast. A complete on fire band. I feel PB was driven by Tim and Adrian w/ them forming spaces for Jordan and Ron while The Breakfast has all four members creating those spaces for each other, thus creating a much fuller sound. Which I prefer. It is cool to hear these shows though and imagine the chaos which surrounded them.
That\'s all.
best scarlet ever!
sorry....i saw a few that were better

gnite all!
such a cool show...i\'ve only been listening to the band since the first time i saw them this past April, so i haven\'t had much chance to check out any older recordings. now i\'ll be praying for setlists with Sundance and Gladys (and Bouree, which was a sweet cover with a sick jam into that fat Phaddy)
I concur with Leith (somebody document this!) that old Psychedelic Breakfast shows are missing something unless you were there. They are awesome, but not AS GOOD as they are now (confirmage galore). I can listen to 04/19/02 or 05/23/02 all day (because I was there) but the random \'01 show just doesn\'t do it for me.

Where did you first catch them?

gotta give a confirm on that. Anyone remeber the huskey blues show where they did scarlet/fire because the owner was a big dead head and wanted fire? That was a good show. Then during the drum solo, tim lit a phatty and held it so adrian could smoke while soloing.
Wah, as far as suggestions, I was always partial to the old donivans reefs shows. Eps the one where they played unmask the batman. F\'n Hillarious.
had a blast at this show:
February 14th, 2003 - The Webster Theatre; Hartford, CT
I: Drunk Monk Bar, May Fly Disarray, Escher\'s Etchings > Attraction To Shade Ditty > Wild Pack of Asscracks, SWLABR > Mooboo\'s Voodoo (Episode 2)
II: Rufus > Food For Thought* > LA Woman > No Glove No Love, Spunk > Drum Solo, Guitar Solo > Question Mark and the Mind, Buquebus > Son of Simpleton
E: The Chase
You were around back then? I didn\'t know you were that old a fan. I have a 5 camera video shoot of this that I am still yet to edit. This was a great show. Awesome ATTSD jam.
